We aim to run events to give students opportunities to explore a variety of aspects of the professional workplace and how diversity, equity, and inclusion plays a role within these spaces. We hope to allow students to learn more about intersectionality and what that means for members of the community and allies alike.

SPA's flagship conference SPECTRUM, is held in June for pride month, striving to give students from all over Canada the opportunity to strengthen their networking skills and explore LGBTQ+ pride. In 2024, the event was a full-day conference held at KPMG which demonstrated the importance of celebrating pride all year long.

Authenti-City 2023

An interactive event where students were able to hear about experiences of being queer in business directly from industry representatives. Authenti-City included a keynote speaker, workshop, and networking session all focused on the themes of creating safe spaces for diversity and inclusivity, and being your authentic self in the workplace.

Eclipse is focused on fostering an honest discussion surrounding the challenges that marginalized groups face and teaching students about intersectionality and DEI in the workplace.
